Preseason Outlook

Plagued by injuries and inconsistency throughout his career, the 32-year-old Wells got a chance to make nine starts for the Reds late last season and wasn't a complete disaster in the role, posting a 4.78 ERA. Of course, he wasn't good enough to keep the role heading into this season either. He'll likely be nothing more than a long reliever and spot starter, making him a last resort even in the deepest of Fantasy leagues. (Updated 2/2/10)
