Angels ink Kip Wells
by Jeff Lippman \| CBSSports.com (4/13/13) The Angels signed pitcher Kip Wells to a minor-league contract Saturday, CBSSports.com Baseball Insider Jon Heyman reports. Wells, 35, went 2-4 with a 4.58 ERA over seven starts for the Padres last year. Prior to that he hadn't pitched in the majors since 2009 with Washington and Cincinnati.

Mets have interest in Wells
by Chris Towers \| CBSSports.com (1/10/13) MLB.com reported Thursday that the Mets are interested in free-agent pitcher Kip Wells. According to the report, the Mets are among three teams interest in adding Wells, however the report indicates that the Mets appear to be the leaders.
