(5/29/13) The Angels have released pitcher Kip Wells from the organization Wednesday, the Los Angeles Times reports.
Wells was released to make room in the Triple-A rotation for Billy Buckner, who cleared waivers Tuesday.

(4/13/13) The Angels signed pitcher Kip Wells to a minor-league contract Saturday, CBSSports.com Baseball Insider Jon Heyman reports.
Wells, 35, went 2-4 with a 4.58 ERA over seven starts for the Padres last year. Prior to that he hadn't pitched in the majors since 2009 with Washington and Cincinnati.

(1/10/13) MLB.com reported Thursday that the Mets are interested in free-agent pitcher Kip Wells. According to the report, the Mets are among three teams interest in adding Wells, however the report indicates that the Mets appear to be the leaders.
