Athletics activate Jed Lowrie from DL; announce September callups

|(9/1/14) The Athletics announced several of roster moves prior to Monday's contest against the Mariners. The team activated shortstop Jed Lowrie from the disabled list. Additionally, they called up pitcher Fernando Rodriguez, catcher Bryan Anderson outfielder Billy Burns from Triple-A.

|(6/1/14) Athletics pitcher Fernando Rodriguez has been sent down Sunday.
Rodriguez performed well in six games with the club, posting a 1.13 ERA. Catcher Stephen Vogt replaced Rodriguez on the active roster.
Athletics promote two pitchers from Triple-A

|(5/9/14) The Athletics have promoted right-hander Fernando Rodriguez and lefty Joe Savery from Triple-A Sacramento.
The former had been sent down in late April. The latter has not pitched for Oakland this season, but did perform well in 18 appearances with Philadelphia in 2013.

|(4/29/14) The Athletics reinstated pitcher Fernando Rodriguez (elbow) from the 15-day disabled list Tuesday. He was then optioned to Triple-A Sacramento, where he was on a rehab assignment.

|(4/4/14) Athletics reliever Fernando Rodriguez began his minor-league rehab assignment Thursday for Triple-A Sacramento as he recovers from Tommy John surgery.
Rodriguez pitched one scoreless inning, allowing one run and striking out one batter, while throwing 11 of 18 pitches for strikes.
It is not yet known how long he is expected to remain in the minors on his rehab assignment.
