|by Shawn Krest | CBSSports.com|
|(5/23/15) White Sox shortstop Alexei Ramirez continued his hot hitting with a 2-for-4 day in Saturday's loss to Minnesota. Ramirez has hit in four straight and is 5 for his last 8.
Ramirez drove in a run, his 19th, and lifted his average to .257. He also stole his third base of the year and was caught stealing for the second time.

|(5/18/15) White Sox shortstop Alexei Ramirez went 2 for 4 with two RBI in his team's 7-3 win over the A's Sunday.
The win was the fifth in the row for the White Sox, while the shortstop has put together an 11-game hitting streak going into Monday's game against the Indians. After getting out to a slow start in April, Ramirez has hit .298/.300/.439 with two home runs and eight RBI in 57 at-bats.
White Sox SS Alexei Ramirez enjoys best game of season
|by Marty Gitlin | CBSSports.com|
|(5/9/15) White Sox shortstop Alexei Ramirez began last season on fire. This year? Cold as ice.
But Ramirez has been heating up and he managed his first three-hit game Saturday against Cincinnati. He hit a two-run homer in the second, doubled and scored in the fourth and capped his night with an RBI single and run in the seventh.
Ramirez now owns a slash line of .237/.269/.381. Nothing spectacular - but all three numbers represent a season-high.
White Sox SS Alexei Ramirez connects for 100th-career home run
|by Ted Leshinski | Staff Writer|
|(5/9/15) White Sox shortstop Alexei Ramirez hit his first home run of the season Saturday, a seventh-inning solo homer to break up Reds starter Johnny Cueto's shutout.|
The home run was Ramirez's 100th of his career, becoming the 10th Cuban-born player to reach that mark.
Ramirez hit 15 home runs last season and his season high is 21, tallied during his rookie season in 2008.
|2014 summary: Following up on back-to-back seasons with little power, Alexei Ramirez had his closest brush with a 20-20 season in 2014. For the third year in a row, Ramirez provided at least 20 stolen bases, and his 15 home runs were his highest total since 2011. Everything else was status quo for the White Sox's veteran shortstop, as he struck out infrequently, walked even less and posted his fifth 70-RBI and third 80-run season.|
Playing time status: Ramirez started all but five games at shortstop, and for the fourth season in a row, he played in exactly 158 games. He consistently racks up plate appearances, and that has been important to his value, even in his lesser seasons.
2015 outlook: Ramirez is so consistent, you could practically pencil in last year's stats as this year's projection. At age 33, we might start to see some decline, but not enough to knock him out of the top 12 rankings for shortstops.
