|Orioles planning to tender all arbitration eligible players |

(11/26/13) Orioles executive vice president Dan Duquette told the Baltimore Sun Monday he has no intention of letting his arbitration eligible players go.
"We are planning on tendering those guys," Duquette said. "Most of the guys we have there are real good players."
First baseman Chris Davis highlights the list of arbitration eligible players, which features eight additional names. They are: catcher Matt Wieters; outfielders Nolan Reimold and Steve Pearce; and pitchers Troy Patton, Brian Matusz, Tommy Hunter, Jim Johnson and Bud Norris.

(11/6/13) Orioles first baseman Chris Davis has won the American League Silver Slugger award at his position.
Davis hit .286/.370/.634 and led all major leaguers with 53 home runs and 138 RBI in 584 at-bats. It's the first Silver Slugger award for Davis, who is also a finalst for the AL Most Valuable Player award.

(10/25/13) The finalists for the 2013 Rawlings Gold Glove awards were announced on Friday, with three players at each position. The awards honor the league's best defenders, and winners will be announced Oct. 29.

(10/11/13) Orioles first baseman Chris Davis has felt no lingering problems with the wrist he sprained on the season's final day, MASN reports.
Thei injury wasn't expected to be serious and Davis has already been able to hit the golf course without any problems. Davis often looked like he was hitting a golf ball at the plate in 2013, as he finished with a .286/.370/.634 line to go with the league-high 53 home runs.

(9/29/13) Orioles first baseman Chris Davis left the final game of the season early due to a wrist injury. Jacoby Ellsbury was running down the first base line trying to beat out a throw from catcher Steve Clevenger, and he ran into Davis' glove.
Davis drew one walk in his only plate appearance in Sunday's game against the Red Sox. He finishes the season with a .286 batting average with 53 home runs and 138 RBI.
