| Nick Noonan gets start at second base |

(6/13/13) Giants infielder Nick Noonan will start at second base Thursday.
Noonan will hit eighth against Pirates starter Charlie Morton. Noonan was called up Tuesday and pinch hit twice since he has been up. He'll receive his first start since early June. Noonan is hitting .197/.246/.213 in 61 at-bats.

(6/11/13) Giants infielder Nick Noonan is being called up to the major-league club, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.
Noonan was demoted Saturday. No corresponding move has been announced. Noonan is hitting .203/.254/.220 in 59 at-bats with the Giants this year.

(6/8/13) The Giants optioned infielder Nick Noonan to Triple-A Fresno Saturday, to make room on the active roster for Tony Abreu's activation from the disabled list.
Noonan hit .203 in 59 at-bats for the Giants, while appearing mostly as a reserve.

(5/30/13) Giants infielder Nick Noonan got the start Thursday against the Athletics, with Marco Scutaro suffering an illness. He reached base twice and scored in a 5-2 win.
Noonan is hitting .216 in 51 at-bats over 32 games.

(4/11/13) Giants second baseman Nick Noonan made his first career start in Thursday's win over the Cubs, singling three times, striking out twice and scoring two runs.
Noonan, who hit .296/.347/.416 at Triple-A during his age-23 season in 2012, is hitting .455/.500/.455 in 12 plate appearances with the Giants this year. He could earn a little more playing time if Marco Scutaro continues to struggle.
