Mattheus moved to disabled list: Washington relief pitcher Ryan Mattheus was placed on the 15-day disabled list Tuesday with a foot injury. Mattheus developed plantar fasciitis in his left foot and will wear a walking boot for a few weeks The Nationals activated Chien-Ming Wang to take his place on the roster and in the bullpen. Mattheus (2-1) seemed to be bothered by the issue in recent games and yielded five hits over his past three outings. The right-hander has collected six holds, but doesn't rack up too many strikeouts.
