Heisey getting more looks: Reds outfielder Chris Heisey made his third straight start on Tuesday at Atlanta, reports the Cincinnati Enquirer. It is only the second time he's started three games in a row. He's been splitting time with Ryan Ludwick in left field. It was a better matchup with Ludwick, manager Dusty Baker said. But weve been waiting on somebody in left field to have some good days. You want to build on what Heisey did yesterday." Heisey went 3 for 3 with an RBI and two doubles on Monday against Atlanta. That was his best day of year, Baker said. He tends to be streaky. Hopefully, hes starting a good streak. (Updated 05/15/2012)

Fantasy Analysis
Ludwick is also struggling at the plate and Heisey has the opportunity to win more playing time with some solid performances. To this point, only Monday's 3-for-3 performance stands out in his last 10 games. He'll need more like that or the team will go right back to Ludwick, who still is considered the predominant option in left. Heisey has just NL-only Fantasy value at this time. (Updated 05/15/2012).

05/18/2012 11:18 Interleague Play: A look at possible NL DHs
A look at who each NL team might use at DH when they play an American League team on the road in interleague play this season.
After playing in 97 games in 2010, Chris Heisey broke camp with the Reds last season and stuck with the big club for most of the season. He was mostly used off the bench but started 54 games and displayed some decent pop. He launched 18 homers with 50 RBI in 279 at-bats, posting a .487 slugging percentage. He also got on base at a .309 clip and batted .254. The 27-year-old lines up as a fourth outfielder heading into 2012 but should be able to see some starts in left field behind the aging Ryan Ludwick. Playing in the hitter-friendly Great American Ball Park with a potent lineup surrounding him will only enhance in value in Fantasy but since his role will limit his appeal, target Heisey in NL-only formats on Draft Day.
