Fantasy Analysis
After dealing off two of their major-league-ready prospects in Brad Peacock and Tommy Milone as part of the Gio Gonzalez deal, the Nationals added a little depth to their Triple-A rotation by signing Ballard. The 27-year-old lefty could emerge in Washington next season if the rotation is depleted by injuries, but even if that happens, Ballard would be nothing more than a low-end waiver wire option in NL-only leagues.
