Fantasy Analysis
Bogusevic carried a six-game hitting streak during the middle of the month, but that has been replaced by four hitless outings over the past week. The 28-year-old possesses quality speed and has swiped three bases in four chances this month, but his opportunities are limited by a .296 on-base percentage. Bogusevic is still receiving ample playing time for the Astros, but remains a low-end NL-only Fantasy option. (Updated 05/20/2012).

Hunter Pence atoned for a ninth-inning error by hitting his second home run of the game, a solo shot in the 10th that lifted the Philadelphia Phillies over the Houston Astros 4-3 Tuesday.
Brian Bogusevic did not do much through the first four months of the season a year ago, but showed some progress down the stretch. He batted just .194 with a .222 slugging percentage through his first 39 games and bounced around from the majors to the minors. The 27-year-old was recalled at the end of July and impressed down the stretch while seeing semi-regular time in right field for the Astros. He batted .313 with four homers, 14 RBI and a .523 slugging percentage over his final 48 games and will compete for a starting job in 2012. He could end up platooning in right field so keep an eye on how he does during the spring. Bogusevic does not have enough pop to be considered an option for mixed leagues so leave him for NL-only formats on Draft Day. (Updated 1/9/12)
