(5/13/13) After missing the previous two games due to an upper respiratory infection, White Sox third baseman Conor Gillaspie returned to action in Monday's series opener against the Twins. He came on in the eighth inning and went 0 for 1 in a 10-3 loss.
Gillaspie is batting .200 (6 for 30) in May with one homer and three RBI.

(5/13/13) White Sox third baseman Conor Gillaspie missed a third straight start Monday at Minnesota because of an upper respiratory infection. Jeff Keppinger made another start at third base in his absence.
Gillaspie is batting .256 (11 for 43) with two doubles, two home runs and five RBI in his last 12 games.

(5/11/13) The White Sox scratched third baseman Conor Gillaspie on Saturday from a game against the Angels. Gillaspie was in the original lineup but had to be removed due to an upper respiratory infection, MLB.com reports.
Gillaspie, who is day to day, has gone 6 for 29 (.207) in May over eight games. He's batting .278 this year with three homers and seven RBI.

(5/8/13) White Sox third baseman Conor Gillaspie drove in two runs Wednesday during a 6-3 win in New York against the Mets.
Gillaspie's double to center field in the third inning plated both runs and put Chicago up 4-1. He finished 2 for 4 and added a walk.
Gillaspie is batting .291 over 86 at-bats with three homers, seven RBI and seven runs scored. He's only recorded three hits in his last five games spanning 17 at-bats.
