Ciriaco dealing with side injury: The Red Sox made a bunch of moves on Sunday but Pedro Ciriaco was not called up to join the big league roster. That is because Ciriaco is battling a side injury at Triple-A Pawtucket. Otherwise, Ciriaco would have been a consideration to replace Che-Hsuan Lin and Michael Bowden on the roster. Instead, Boston went with Nate Spears and Jason Repko. (Updated 04/15/2012)

Fantasy Analysis
Signing with Boston from Pittsburgh in the offseason, Ciriaco has played in five games with the PawSox thus far. He's gone 7 for 21 (.333) with two RBI and two stolen bases. Ciriaco will probably shuttle between Boston and Triple-A Pawtucket as needed throughout the season. He can be ignored in all Fantasy formats. (Updated 04/15/2012).
