Pirates clip Chris Leroux from roster
by Bill Passonno \| CBSSports.com (4/12/13) Pirates pitcher Chris Leroux was designated for assignment Friday to clear a spot on the 40-man roster. Leroux appeared in just two games out of the bullpen for Pittsburgh and surrendered three runs and six walks over four innings.

by Jeff Lippman \| CBSSports.com (9/1/12) Pittsburgh has recalled catcher Eric Fryer and pitchers Justin Wilson and Jeff Locke from Triple-A Indianapolis Saturday. They have also selected pitcher Chris Leroux and infielder Brock Holt.
