Kelley back in Seattle : The Mariners recalled reliever Shawn Kelley from Triple-A Tacoma on Saturday and option reliever Erasmo Ramirez in a corresponding move. "I feel good right now,'' Kelley told the Seattle Times. "My arm strength's good. I feel healthy. I feel better arm strength wise than I did last September. I'm still a year and a half from surgery, so just recently, in the last few weeks, I started to really get the full extent of my shoulder and elbow strength back and my velocity has gone up a little bit.'' Fantasy Analysis
Kelley missed most of last season due to elbow surgery, so perhaps he's now ready to contribute for the Mariners. Fantasy owners shouldn't add Kelley though as he's not in line for saves. He can be left on waivers in all formats. (Updated 05/05/2012).
