Redick homered in the eighth inning and fell a double shy of the cycle. He finished 4 for 5 with two runs scored and two RBI, improving his batting average to .211 with three home runs.

| Josh Reddick making 'impact' since return |
by Michael Hurcomb | CBSSports.com (6/3/13) Athletics outfielder Josh Reddick is batting just .273 (3 for 11) with one double and two RBI in three games since coming off the disabled list because of a wrist injury, but manager Bob Melvin said during an interview Monday with MLB Network Radio Reddick has looked much better since returning and his wrist is "a lot better."
"He's just a different player and has made an impact in the outfield and at the plate," Melvin added.

| Josh Reddick doubles in return |
by R.J. White | CBSSports.com (6/1/13) Athletics right fielder Josh Reddick went 1 for 3 with a double, a run and an RBI Friday against the White Sox in his return from the 15-day disabled list. He broke a 0-0 tie in the eighth inning by driving in John Jaso, then scored on a Coco Crisp single.
Reddick was making his first major-league appearance since May 6 due to a wrist injury. He has a .158 batting average with a home run in 95 at-bats.

| Josh Reddick comes off the DL |
by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com (5/31/13) The Athletics reinstated outfielder Josh Reddick from the disabled list Friday, as expected. Reddick has been out since May 8 with a sore right wrist.
Reddick, who batted just .152 with one home run in 29 games prior to the injury, was in the starting lineup Friday against the White Sox. He batted seventh and played right field in the game.

| Josh Reddick had shown some clout as a minor leaguer, but in parts of three seasons with the Red Sox, he didn't do much at the plate. In 2012, he finally put it all together, but unfortunately for the Red Sox, Reddick hit his groove after they had traded him to the Athletics in the deal that brought Andrew Bailey and Ryan Sweeney to Boston. Reddick clubbed 32 home runs, and in impressive fashion, he hit 18 of those at O.co Coliseum, which is one of the hardest parks in the majors for lefties to homer in. Power alone makes the 26-year-old a top 40 outfielder, but he is going to have to reduce his strikeouts if he is to take the next step forward in value. Even if that happens, Reddick flies out far too often to be a threat to hit much over .260. (Updated 12/4/12) |
