| Brad Mills outrighted to Triple-A |

(3/28/13) The Rangers announced Thursday pitcher Brad Mills cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Round Rock. Mills was 1-0 with a 4.50 ERA in four games (two starts) this spring. He was claimed off waivers from the Angels Sunday.

(3/24/13) The Rangers have claimed left-handed starter Brad Mills from the Angels, the club announced Sunday.
Mills, 28, spent the bulk of 2012 at Triple-A Salt Lake, where he recorded a 5.86 ERA in 19 starts (109 innings). In four seasons at Triple-A between the Blue Jays and Angels systems, Mills owns a 4.68 ERA with a 7.9 K/9 and 3.1 BB/9 over 463 innings.

(7/14/12) The Angels have option Brad Mills to Triple-A Salt Lake after their 6-5 loss to the Yankees on Friday night. The move was made to make room for Jerome Williams who is scheduled to pitch Saturday against the Yankees. "I'm surprised. I'm disappointed," Mills said. "I never know the circumstance, so I don't know if I was being sent down no matter what, if it had the chance of being an extended look. Obviously, there was a lot of other factors going on, but I want to be up here, I want to stay up here. I'm kind of at the point in my career where I've gotten enough spot starts in little stretches here and there. I want an extended look."
