| Manager Ron Roenicke tries to wake up lineup |

(4/13/13) Brewers reserves Blake Lalli and Logan Schafer were in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Cardinals as manager Ron Roenicke told MLB.com he hoped to wake up the lineup.
Milwaukee entered the game 2-7 on the year while scoring just 32 runs, including getting shutout by St. Louis Friday.
"It doesn't hurt to get a few different bats in the lineup," Roenicke said.

(3/30/13) Brewers center fielder Logan Schafer has been tabbed as the team's emergency catcher this season, manager Ron Roenicke told MLB.com. While it's likely Schafer doesn't see any time behind the plate this season, the added designation could help to keep him at the major-league level as he serves as a bench outfielder.

(2/14/13) The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports Brewers manager Ron Roenicke said Logan Schafer has a good chance to make the roster as a backup outfielder. "Schafer can really play defense. And he seems to square up balls all the time (at the plate)," Roenicke said.
