(5/10/13) The White Sox optioned outfielder Jordan Danks to Triple-A Charlotte Friday to clear a spot for Dayan Viciedo, who was activated from the disabled list. Danks had three hits in nine games.

(5/6/13) White Sox outfielder Jordan Danks delievered the game-winning home run in the 11th inning of Monday's 2-1 win at Kansas City. Danks, who entered the game as a pinch runner in the ninth, hit his first home run of the season on a 3-1 pitch off Kelvin Herrera.
It could have been a two-run homer, but Alex Rios was caught stealing two pitches earlier. Danks is 3 for 13 (.231) with two RBI in seven games.

(5/2/13) White Sox outfielder Jordan Danks did not appear in Thursday's game against the Rangers, but he believes his sore right knee is healthy enough that he can play.
"There's a little fluid in the knee, but there's no pain at all. Really, it's just kind of range of motion," Danks told MLB.com. "We tried to drain it [Wednesday] and it was a little too thick. It's just whenever I'm ready to run again."
Danks is more of a reserve outfielder for the White Sox , having appeared in just six games this season, four of them starts.

(5/2/13) White Sox outfielder Jordan Danks was unable to take the field Wednesday against the Rangers, as he continues to deal with an injured right knee. Danks has been diagnosed with an inflamed bursa sac in his right knee.
He is batting .167 in 12 at bats since being called up midway through April.

(4/30/13) White Sox outfielder Jordan Danks was scratched from Tuesday's starting lineup against the Rangers with a right knee injury.
Danks had his right knee wrapped after crashing into the fence, according to the Chicago Tribune. The White Sox announced that he has an inflamed bursa sac in his right knee.
Danks is hitting .167 in 12 at-bats. Dewayne Wise will replace the 26-year-old in the lineup.

| Jordan Danks started his major league career on a tear last season, hitting .306 through his first 25 games. And then things got messy. Over his last 25, Danks hit just .129. He finished the year with a .224 average and one home run in 67 at-bats. With a stacked outfield ahead of him in 2013, Danks looks like a utility player, at best, who will offer little in the way of average or power. He can be left undrafted in most formats.
