| Francisco Peguero seeing more time in minors |

(5/14/13) Giants manager Bruce Bochy told MLB.com on Tuesday that Francisco Peguero was optioned to Triple-A Fresno in order to see more playing time.
"More than anything, get Peguero playing again," Bochy said about the decision. "With [Gregor Blanco] and [Andres] Torres, Peguero wasn't going to get a lot of at-bats here."
Peguero has batted .415 with two homers and 14 RBI in 16 games for Fresno.

(5/13/13) The Giants demoted outfielder Francisco Peguero to Triple-A Fresno on Sunday, the team announced. Peguero didn't receive much playing time with San Francisco's outfielders' healthy and posted a .188 batting average over six games.

(5/3/13) The Giants have recalled outfielder Francisco Peguero from Triple-A Frenso Friday.
Peguero was hitting .415 with five doubles, two home runs and 14 RBI in 65 at-bats while in the Pacific Coast League. He was hitting .444 (16 for 36) with two homers and nine RBI in his last nine games at Triple-A before receiving the call.

(3/30/13) Giants outfielder Francisco Peguero has been assigned to Triple-A Frenso after failing to make the Giants' opening day roster.
Peguero seemed headed for a roster spot after hitting .328/.350/.483 in 60 Cactus League plate appearances this spring. Instead, he returns to Triple-A, where he hit .272/.297/.394 in 476 plate appearances last season.

(3/15/13) Comcast SportsNet Bay Area reports Friday the Giants are considering keeping outfielder Francisco Peguero around as the fourth outfielder, with the opportunity to seize an even larger role if he plays well.
"He’s in the mix and he’s got all the tools to be an everyday outfielder," Giants manager Bruce Bochy said. "But if not, he’s a nice weapon to have off the bench. You can pinch-hit him, pinch run or double switch."
Peguero is batting .412 with five RBI and two stolen bases this spring.
