(8/29/12) Rookie Moises Sierra figures to be the Blue Jays' regular starter in right field with Jose Bautista (wrist) out for the season, though he could lose some at-bats to Anthony Gose once rosters expand in September. Sierra went 2 for 3 Tuesday at the Yankees and is now batting .294 (20 for 68) this season.

The Lineup: Sun Monster strikes again and so does Adrian Beltre
After being victims of the Sun Monster at Nationals Park on Sunday, the home team was the beneficiary on Monday. In Texas, Adrian Beltre came through twice, as did Adam Dunn in Chicago.

Arencibia's grand slam lifts Blue Jays
J.P. Arencibia broke open a tight game with a seventh-inning grand slam, and the Toronto Blue Jays beat Baltimore 9-5 Monday night to earn a doubleheader split and drop the Orioles 11/2 games out of first place in the AL East.

Streaking Ichiro Suzuki hit a go-ahead, two-run double in a seven-run fourth inning capped by Nick Swisher's grand slam, and the New York Yankees beat the Toronto Blue Jays 10-7 Thursday night to open a one-game AL East lead over idle Baltimore.
