(4/30/13) The Orioles designated catcher Luis Exposito for assignment Tuesday, MLB.com reports. Exposito was sent to Triple-A Norfolk Tuesday, but the team needed to create space on the 40-man roster for Chris Snyder.

(4/30/13) The Orioles optioned catcher Luis Exposito to Triple-A Norfolk Monday after promoting him to the parent club a day earlier. Exposito did not appear in a game with Baltimore and will resume catching duties for Norfolk, where he is hitting just .218 with six RBI.

(4/28/13) The Orioles recalled catcher Luis Exposito from Triple-A Norfolk Sunday before a game against Oakland with Taylor Teagarden going on the disabled list, MASNSports.com reports. Exposito will back up Matt Wieters behind the plate.
He was batting .218 at Norfolk with three doubles and six RBI over 55 at-bats. Exposito made several poor fielding plays during spring training, MASNSports.com reports. He is the best among very few options at the catcher position in the Baltimore organization.

(3/20/13) The Orioles have optioned catcher Luis Exposito to Triple-A Norfolk, the club announced Wednesday. The 26-year-old mashed in spring training, as he posted a .381/.481/.619 line in 27 plate appearances. However, Exposito is a career minor leaguer. In 147 games at the Triple-A level dating back to 2011, he has just a .251/.308/.387 slash line in 594 plate appearances.
