Norberto earns first career save: Oakland reliever Jordan Norberto had to clean up closer Grant Balfour's mess on Tuesday night in Boston. Balfour gave up two runs and put more runners on in the ninth as he was on to protect a 5-1 lead in a non-save situation. Balfour was removed with two runners on base for Norberto, who shut the door on the Red Sox for his first career save. Norberto got a strike out and a ground out to end the game for the A's. Norberto lowered his ERA to 4.91 on the year. (Updated 05/01/2012)

Fantasy Analysis
Norberto was coming off an outing on Monday in which he allowed three earned runs and got just one out so it was nice for him to bounce right back. Still, he's just a mop-up reliever for the A's at this time and has low-end Fantasy value. (Updated 05/01/2012).
