| Bo Porter names three everyday outfielders |
by Adam Moore | CBSSports.com (5/13/13) Astros manager Bo Porter said J.D. Martinez, Robbie Grossman and Jimmy Paredes will be the team's regular three starters in the outfield, MLB.com reports. Porter had been rotating Trevor Crowe and Brandon Barnes in the outfield over the past few weeks.
"They're going to get the bulk of the playing time," Porter said, "so that I, as a manager, can make a definitive decision as a manager to answer the question: Can this guy or can that guy play every day at the Major League level?"

| Robbie Grossman leading off again |
by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com (5/13/13) Astros outfielder Robbie Grossman will lead off and play center field Monday against the Tigers.
With Justin Maxwell sidelined, Grossman has been starting in center field. He's hit just .194/.308/.254 this season, but manager Bo Porter has been patient with Grossman thus far. He'll go up against Anibal Sanchez Monday.

| Astros sticking with Robbie Grossman |
by Adam Moore | CBSSports.com (5/11/13) Despite Robbie Grossman's recent struggles at the plate, Astros manager Bo Porter said he will continue to give the center fielder every-day at-bats, MLB.com reports. Grossman entered Saturday's contest against the Rangers hitting just .188 with three doubles and one RBI.
"We're going to continue to give him an opportunity to play," Porter said. "That's why he's here, and he's going to continue to get that opportunity until we decide to make a different decision."

| Robbie Grossman scores twice atop lineup |
by Jack Moore | CBSSports.com (5/8/13) Astros outfielder Robbie Grossman scored two runs as part of a 1-for-3 game Tuesday against the Angels.
Grossman has led off 11 of the past 13 games for Houston and appears to have a solid hold on the center-field job. With Jose Altuve hitting well and Chris Carter always capable of a home run, Grossman should have the opportunity to score runs atop even a lineup as bad as Houston's.

| Robbie Grossman to get first crack at CF |
by Adam Moore | CBSSports.com (4/26/13) With Justin Maxwell expected to be sidelined for 4-6 weeks, Astros manager Bo Porter said outfielder Robbie Grossman will become the team's everyday center fielder, the Houston Chronicle reports.
Grossman, who was recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City earlier in the week, made his third straight start in center field Friday night at Boston.
