(3/20/13) The Dodgers re-assigned pitcher Chris Withrow to minor league camp on Wednesday. Withrow was limited to one Cactus League appearance due to injuries.
The 23-year-old went 3-3 with a 4.65 ERA in 22 appearances (seven starts) at Double-A Chattanooga last season.

(3/18/13) Dodgers prospect Chris Withrow made his Cactus League debut on Sunday after missing time due to a back injury. But the second batter Withrow faced hit a comebacker off his left shin and the right-hander will now miss a couple of days.
"It's been a pretty adventurous spring," Withrow told MLB.com Monday. "I came in ready to go. For my back to go out the second day was kind of frustrating. Then the second batter, after seven months off, that's not ideal either. Things happen for a reason."
Withrow, a first-round pick in 2007, went 3-3 with a 4.65 ERA in 22 appearances (seven starts) at Double-A Chattanooga last season.

(3/17/13) Dodgers pitcher Chris Withrow made his Cactus League debut on Sunday against the Diamondbacks. He entered in the sixth inning and struck out the first batter he faced. The right-hander was pulled after giving up a single to Paul Goldschmidt. Withrow had been out due to a back issue.

(2/17/13) The Orange County Register reports Dodgers pitcher Chris Withrow is headed for an MRI on his back after having issues while throwing last week. "This is new for me, which is why I think it's not as bad," he told reporters. "I'll take it easy a couple of days and make sure it doesn't flare up."

(2/5/13) MLB.com reports Dodgers pitching prospect Chris Withrow, who was a 2007 first-round pick, has been converted from a starter to a reliever. "Chris wanted the change," pitching coach Rick Honeycutt said. "He likes attacking more. He reminds me a little of (Eric) Gagne, somebody who might throw three or four innings as a starter but have one [bad] inning, and you can eliminate that if you're only asking one inning of relief from him. Maybe one- or two-inning stints will be easier on his back. He's got the arm."
