| Giants option reliever Dan Runzler |

(3/24/13) The Giants optioned relief pitcher Dan Runzler to Triple-A Fresno on Sunday, reports CSN Bay Area. The 27-year-old Runzler posted a 7.27 ERA this spring over 10 appearances and 8 2/3 innings with five walks and eight strikeouts. He has appeared in just six games for the Giants since the end of 2011.

| (9/4/12) The Giants recalled pitchers Dan Otero and Dan Runzler from Triple-A Fresno on Tuesday. Emmanuel Burriss also has his contract purchased from Fresno. To make room on the roster, Eric Hacker was designated for assignment.
