| Blake Wood throws scoreless rehab inning |
by Jack Moore | CBSSports.com (5/15/13) Indians reliever Blake Wood threw a scoreless rehab inning Wednesday at low Class A Lake County, the club announced.
Wood has been recovering from Tommy John surgery since last May. He cannot return at least until May 30, as he is on the 60-day disabled list.

Wood has been sidelined after Tommy John surgery, and was shut down early after a poor outing May 9. Wood and Vinnie Pestano will pitch during the game. Wood last pitched in the majors in 2011. He had a 3.75 ERA and a 3.69 FIP in 69 2/3 innings.

by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com (5/9/13) Indians reliever Blake Wood, who is working his way back from Tommy John surgery, shut down his rehab assignment on Thursday after experiencing discomfort in his right elbow. Wood made his first rehab appearances earlier in the week. It is not known how long he will be out of action.

The right-hander threw just eight of his 23 pitches for strikes.
Wood is recovering from Tommy John surgery.
