Sanchez had a pretty strong spring, but the Cardinals still opted to send him to the minors for the outset of the 2012 season. Sanchez, unfortunately, has posted a 6.08 ERA in 13 1/3 innings for Memphis, but he does have six saves. While Sanchez has the ability to close games, he won't initially for the Cardinals.
