Mier injured at Class A: The Houston Chronicle reports Astros SS prospect Jiovanni Mier was diagnosed with a sprained knee after getting hurt in a collision at second base for Class A Lancaster on Monday, according to Astros director of player development Fred Nelson. There is no timetable for his return and he will be examined by a doctor on Tuesday. (Updated 07/19/2011)
