Nationals' Clint Robinson makes the start in left field Friday
|by Jason Lempert | Staff Writer|
|(5/22/15) Nationals left fielder Clint Robinson is making his first start since April 23. Robinson is in the starting lineup Friday against the Phillies, batting seventh.
With regular left fielder Jayson Werth on the disabled list, Michael Taylor and Tyler Moore have been splitting most of the time in the outfield. But they will be on the bench as Robinson will draw the start Friday. He's had just nine at-bats this month, with his only hit going for an RBI double which came in his last appearance as a pinch-hitter on Tuesday.

|(5/20/15) Nationals outfielder Tyler Moore went 1 for 3 at the plate in Washington's 3-2 win over the Yankees on Wednesday.
Moore did his damage in the fourth inning when he belted a solo home run off of Adam Warren, his third of the season. Moore is now hitting .220 with eight RBI in 41 at-bats this season.

|by Ted Leshinski | Staff Writer|
|(5/17/15) Jayson Werth (wrist) and Denard Span are out of the Nationals’ lineup for Sunday in San Diego, as Tyler Moore will make his second straight start in left field, batting sixth, and Michael Taylor will bat leadoff and play centerfield.
Werth left Friday’s game after getting hit on the wrist with a pitch and sat out Saturday’s win.
Span, who's started 12 of the last 13 games for the Nats in centerfield, will sit out for rest.
Nationals' Tyler Moore working at 3B, Ryan Zimmerman staying at 1B
|by Shawn Krest | CBSSports.com|
|(4/18/15) Nationals outfielder Tyler Moore took ground balls at third base on Saturday morning and will be an emergency option at that position, in case of injury, the Washington Times reported.
Ryan Zimmerman, who has played third base in the past, will remain at first base.
Yunel Escobar, Wilson Ramos, Tyler Moore out of Nationals' lineup
|by Shawn Krest | CBSSports.com|
|(4/18/15) Nationals third baseman Yunel Escobar is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Phillies. Escobar was questionable with a groin injury. He's been replaced by Danny Espinosa, who is batting seventh in the lineup.
Manager Matt Williams said Escobar "felt pretty good" Saturday morning. He will receive an MRI.
Infielder Emmanuel Burriss is not in the starting lineup for Washington's Triple-A affiliate, Syracuse, leaving open the possibility that Escobar may be placed on the disabled list later today.
Two other Nationals regulars are out of Saturday's lineup: Catcher Wilson Ramos and left fielder Tyler Moore. Jose Lobaton gets the start at catcher, batting eighth. Clint Robinson is in left, batting fifth.
