Avery looks great in top spot: Orioles rookie and outfielder Xavier Avery had a very impressive series in Washington during interleague play. Playing most often as the Orioles leadoff hitter, Avery went 5 for 11 in the series with two doubles, two walks and three runs scored in three games. Avery went 2 for 4 on Sunday and picked up his first stolen base in the loss to the Nationals. Avery is batting .313 at this point after 32 at-bats. (Updated 05/20/2012)

Fantasy Analysis
Avery is just 22 years old but has carried himself extremely well thus far for Baltimore. That could change, however, as Avery is gaining Fantasy appeal. (Updated 05/20/2012).
