|by Shawn Krest | CBSSports.com|
|(4/18/15) Nationals third baseman Yunel Escobar is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Phillies. Escobar was questionable with a groin injury. He's been replaced by Danny Espinosa, who is batting seventh in the lineup.
Manager Matt Williams said Escobar "felt pretty good" Saturday morning. He will receive an MRI.
Infielder Emmanuel Burriss is not in the starting lineup for Washington's Triple-A affiliate, Syracuse, leaving open the possibility that Escobar may be placed on the disabled list later today.
Two other Nationals regulars are out of Saturday's lineup: Catcher Wilson Ramos and left fielder Tyler Moore. Jose Lobaton gets the start at catcher, batting eighth. Clint Robinson is in left, batting fifth.

Nationals Clint Robinson makes 40-man roster, Rich Hill does not
|by Dave Peters | CBSSports.com|
|(4/4/15) Nationals first baseman Clint Robinson was told by the team that he made the 40-man for Opening Day, according to the Washington Times. The same report states that pitcher Rich Hill was informed that he did not make the 40-man roster.
"I'm on cloud nine," said Robinson, per the Washington Post.
Robinson, 30, will be making the first Opening day roster of his career. This spring, he batted .327 with two home runs on 16 hits with eight RBI and 10 strikeouts.
In 2014, Hill posted an ERA of 1.69 in 14 appearances with the Yankees.
Clint Robinson continues to make push for spot on Nationals' bench
|by Michael Hurcomb | CBSSports.com|
|(3/18/15) First baseman/outfielder Clint Robinson continued his campaign to secure a spot on the Nationals' bench with a solo home run during Wednesday's spring game against the Marlins.
Robinson is now batting .417 (10 for 24) with one triple, two home runs, three doubles and six RBI in 13 spring games.
“Making a really good case,” Nationals manager Matt Williams said, per The Washington Post. “He just continues to play well all over the field -- right field, first base, coming off the bench if we need him to do that, so making a real good case.”
