| Randal Grichuk 'heading in the right direction' |

(5/12/13) Angels outfield prospect Randal Grichuk homered twice Saturday for Double-A Arkansas and has homered three times in his last three games.
"I just feel like barreling balls up pretty well lately," Grichuk said, per MLB.com.
Grichuk, who is considered the Angels' seventh-best prospect by MLB.com, is starting to come around offensively after a brutal April. Grichuk is batting .257 (9 for 35) with a .657 slugging percentage in nine May games after batting .169 (23 for 118) with a .325 slugging percentage in 24 April games.
"I definitely had a rough month of April, but something like tonight, it really boosts my confidence that things are heading in the right direction," Grichuk said after his fourth career multi-homer game. "It's reassuring, for sure, especially on the mental side of it. Game in and game out, I've got to keep grinding it out and, hopefully, this is the start of something."
