Belisle is 'incredibly efficient': The Denver Post reports Rockies reliever Matt Belisle continues to receive a vast amount of praise from manager Jim Tracy. After a strong spring, Belisle has allowed just one unearned run in four innings this season. "He's been an incredibly efficient pitcher," Tracy said. Belisle is carrying the success over he had late last season, when he allowed four runs in his final 25 appearances. "I don't ever think about that," he said. "I just feel confident right now, and I feel driven to keeping honing my edge. I'm just trying to stay on point and be prepared for every situation that's thrown at me." (Updated 04/15/2012)

Fantasy Analysis
Belisle had a career-high 10 wins in 2011. He didn't even do that when he began his career as a starter. He's found his niche and seems to be thriving as a late-inning reliever. However, Rex Brothers would probably be the Rockies' first choice to step into the closer's role if something happened to Rafael Betancourt. Since Belisle doesn't see regular save chances, then he has low-end Fantasy appeal. (Updated 04/15/2012).
