| Marlins have no timetable for Alex Sanabia |
by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com (5/28/13) Marlins manager Mike Redmond told The Miami Herald that he has no timeframe on how long starter Alex Sanabia might be out.
Sanabia was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a sore right groin following Sunday's start against the White Sox. He is 3-7 with a 4.88 ERA in 10 starts.

| Alex Sanabia placed on DL after rough outing |
by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com (5/26/13) Marlins starter Alex Sanabia suffered his seventh loss and was immediately placed on the 15-day disabled list with a sore right groin following Sunday's 5-3 defeat to the White Sox.
Sanabia lasted just four innings, allowing a two-run home run to Adam Dunn in the first inning and a two-run double to Alejandro De Aza in the second. He permitted four runs on six hits and a walk while striking out three. Sanabia is the third starting pitcher for the Marlins to land on the disabled list.

| Alex Sanabia earns win over Phillies |
by Jeff Lippman | CBSSports.com (5/20/13) Marlins starter Alex Sanabia pitched well Monday and earned a win over Philadelphia.
With the Phillies' offense struggling, Sanabia improved to 3-6 on the year with a 4.56 ERA. He allowed one run on seven hits and a walk over 6 1/3 innings.
The only mistake Sanabia made was allowing a solo homer to Domonic Brown in the second inning. He struck out three.
The 24-year-old had lost five straight starts before earning his third win Monday. He'll look to start a winning streak when he next takes the mound Sunday during an interleague series in Chicago.

| Alex Sanabia hoping to avoid Marlins' history |
by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com (5/16/13) Unless he can snap a string of five losses in five starts with his next one Monday against the Phillies, Marlins starting pitcher Alex Sanabia is going to match a dubious team mark.
Only one pitcher in Marlins' franchise history has ever dropped six decisions in six starts, and that was then-rookie Brad Hand, from August 2011 through August 2012. Sanabia is the ninth player in team history to lose five starts in a row.
After losing Wednesday to the Reds, Sanabia is 2-6 with a 5.00 ERA on the season.

| Alex Sanabia gets no run support |
by R.J. White | CBSSports.com (5/15/13) Marlins starting pitcher Alex Sanabia worked around two hits and two walks in the first inning to allow just one run, but he got zero help from his offense in his team's 4-0 loss to the Reds Wednesday. It was Sanabia's sixth loss.
Sanabia ended up surrendering four earned runs on nine hits and three walks while striking out three. He served up two home runs to Reds outfielder Shin-Soo Choo. Sanabia is 2-6 with a 5.00 ERA after taking losses in each of his last five starts.
He'll try to get back in the win column Monday against the Phillies.
