Fantasy Analysis
Colon hasn't really hit as well in the minors as he did in college at Cal State-Fullerton, but the scouts still believe he has decent power if he remains at shortstop. He has been lauded for his consistent contact, but we are still waiting to see that on a bigger sample size in the minors. The Royals haven't rushed prospects since GM Dayton Moore took over, so we doubt Colon will be sped through the minors this season. He remains more of a long-term Fantasy keeper. (Updated 06/09/2011).
