|(6/1/15) Diamondbacks pitcher Patrick Corbin threw an extended spring training game on Monday, the team announced.
He went 3 2/3 innings and struck out eight batters. He allowed two hits and one walk.
Corbin has been recovering from Tommy John surgery that he had back in 2013.
D-Backs may give Patrick Corbin more time before next rehab start

|(5/20/15) Diamondbacks general Manager Dave Stewart was impressed by Patrick Corbin's (elbow) third extended spring rehab on Monday, but revealed that although there's "nothing to be alarmed about," the team will likely give the southpaw some extra time before his next rehab start, per the Arizona Republic.
"In talking to him, in the outing before, he went after it pretty good and he was just a little bit reserved going out (on Monday)," Stewart said. "Plus, there was the setting. It was a camp game, the adrenaline wasn't going as good as if it was a normal game."
D-backs starter Patrick Corbin (elbow) throws in third rehab game

|(5/18/15) Diamondbacks starter Patrick Corbin (elbow) tossed 54 pitches over five innings Monday in an instrasquad game in extended spring training, reports MLB.com.
Corbin underwent Tommy John surgery following the 2013 season.
"He looked good," D-backs manager Chip Hale said of the report he reviewed. "His off-speed stuff looked pretty good today. When he got up in the zone a little bit, he got hit a little bit."
Monday's outing was the left hander's third extended spring rehab game.
"We'll see where he goes next," Hale added. "It's not always going to be easy, so he's going to have to have some soreness. We'll see how many days we give him in between this one."
Diamondbacks targeting June 4 for LHP Patrick Corbin's return
|by Jason Lempert | Staff Writer|
|(5/13/15) Diamondbacks general manager Dave Stewart indicated that the team is targeting June 4 for the return of pitcher Patrick Corbin, according to FoxSportsArizona.com.
Corbin missed all of the 2014 season and has yet to pitch in a big league game this year, as he is recovering from Tommy John surgery. The left-hander was an All-Star in 2013, finishing with a 14-8 record, 178 strikeouts and a 3.41 ERA in over 200 innings pitched.
Diamondbacks transfer Patrick Corbin to 60-day DL
|by R.J. White | CBSSports.com|
|(5/10/15) The Diamondbacks transferred pitcher Patrick Corbin to the 60-day disabled list Sunday.
Corbin made his debut in extended spring training earlier this week and is expected to make another start Monday. He's working his way back from Tommy John surgery and expected to be ready to return at some point this summer.
|2014 summary: Patrick Corbin did not get an opportunity to follow up on his breakout 2013 campaign, as he underwent season-ending Tommy John surgery in late March.|
Playing time status: As Corbin continues to recover from surgery, he is not expected back in the Diamondbacks rotation before June.
2015 outlook: Corbin owed much of his 2013 success to this slider, but when it flattened out late in the season, he started allowing extra-base hits and runs in droves. At his best, Corbin is a must-start in standard mixed leagues, but he will be limited in his availability and perhaps also in his effectiveness. Though he is worth a flier in deeper formats, Corbin is not worth gambling even a late-round pick in standard mixed leagues.
