(7/6/14) Diamondbacks first baseman Paul Goldschmidt delivered his 16th home run during a 3-1 win Sunday at Atlanta. He finished 2 for 3 with one walk, one run and one strikeout.

Goldschmidt provided pretty much all the offense Arizona needed when he connected for a two-run homer off the left-field foul pole with two outs in the third inning.

He is now batting .500 (11 for 22) with one triple, one home run, four doubles, five runs and five RBI in six July games. He's hit safely in each game.

by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(7/4/14) Diamondbacks first baseman Paul Goldschmidt ended a streak of seven games without an RBI Thursday, as he drove in two runs in a 10-2 win over the Pirates.

Goldschmidt drove in both runs with his ninth-inning triple, the first of his season. He went 2 for 4 overall with a walk and a run scored in the win.

Goldschmidt has fallen a bit behind in the RBI race thanks to his recent dry spell. He still ranks third in the National League with 55 RBI, while hitting .308/.398/.545 in 325 at-bats.
