(5/3/13) The Giants optioned pitcher Sandy Rosario to Triple-A Fresno Friday to clear space on the active roster for the return of Jeremy Affeldt from the disabled list. Rosario earned his first career win with a victory over Arizona Tuesday in his only appearance after being recalled earlier this week.

(4/29/13) The Giants placed reliever Jose Mijares on the bereavement list on Monday. Sandy Rosario was recalled from Triple-A Fresno to take his spot on the roster.

(3/15/13) The San Francisco Giants completed another round of roster cuts Friday, optioning pitchers Dan Otero, Jake Dunning, Chris Heston and Sandy Rosario, shortstops Ehire Adrianza and Nick Noonan and outfielders Roger Kieschnick and Juan Perez to Triple-A Fresno. Pitcher Edwin Escobar was sent to Class A San Jose. The team also reassigned Brett Bochy, Boof Bonser, Steve Edlefsen, Heath Hembree, Michael Kickham, Mitch Lively, Shane Loux, Ricky Oropesa, Adam Duvall, Brock Bond and Gary Brown to its minor-league camp.
