| Justin De Fratus thrives in pressure situations |
by Michael Hurcomb | CBSSports.com (5/15/13) Phillies reliever Justin De Fratus has pitched in two clutch situations since being promoted from the minors Saturday. He struck out Diamondbacks slugger Paul Goldschmidt in the ninth inning Sunday while earning his first win and then picked up a hold in Tuesday's 6-2 win against the Indians.
"He likes that atmosphere. He doesn't panic," Phillies pitching coach Rich Dubee said Wednesday, per MLB.com. "Last year he was outstanding when we brought him in with guys on base to get us a big out. Those guys are special."

| Phillies recall Justin De Fratus |
by R.J. White | CBSSports.com (5/11/13) The Phillies announced after Friday night's game that pitcher Justin De Fratus has been recalled from Triple-A Lehigh Valley. He posted a 1.89 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 17:6 K:BB ratio in 19 innings over 13 relief appearances with Lehigh Valley prior to the promotion.
This will be De Fratus' third season pitching with the Phillies after making five appearances in 2011 and 13 appearances in 2012. He has compiled a 3.07 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 11:8 K:BB ration over 10 2/3 innings with the major-league team in his career.

| De Fratus rejoins Phillies roster |
by Michael Hurcomb | CBSSports.com (9/2/12) The Phillies recalled reliever Justin De Fratus from Triple-A Lehigh Valley Sunday.
|
| Justin De Fratus has put together two solid, short-lived stints as a reliever for the Phillies over the last two years, compiling a 3.07 ERA and 1.09 WHIP in 18 appearances. And the 25-year-old has shown a good deal of improvement as he advanced through the minors. However, a middle reliever with decent ratios and solid strikeout rates will only have value in the deepest of NL-only leagues. De Fratus can be left on waiver wires in most other formats.
