Wilk can't get out of gate: After two innings, Detroit pitcher Adam Wilk had thrown 53 pitches and given up four earned runs. It didn't get any better for Wilk as he failed to record an out in the third inning before turning the ball over to the bullpen. He finished giving up six earned runs off eight hits. Wilk struck out one batter and issued a walk before leaving the game. He was tagged for his third loss of the season as the Tigers lost to the Mariners, 9-1. According to MLive.com, Wilk was sent to Triple-A Toledo after the game. The Tigers recalled pitcher Brayan Villarreal to take his place on the roster. (Updated 04/25/2012)
