Downs has appeared in 26 games, posting a 5.18 ERA. Downs hasn't appeared in the majors since July 6.

(8/4/13) The Tigers have activated pitcher Darin Downs from the disabled list and optioned him to Triple-A Toledom, MLB.com reports. Downs posted a 5.18 ERA in 26 games for Detroit before suffering a shoulder injury.

(8/2/13) The Tigers expect to have reliever Darin Downs available off the disabled list early next week, as he has just one more rehab outing scheduled. Downs will pitch Saturday for Triple-A Toledo, in which is expected to be his final tune up while recovering from a shoulder injury, according to MLB.com.
Downs could be activated from the disabled list in time for the team's trip to Cleveland Monday.

(7/30/13) Tigers reliever Darin Downs, who is rehabbing a shoulder injury, will make another rehab appearance with Triple-A Toledo Wednesday, MLB.com reports.
Downs is expected to either go two innings or reaches a specific pitch count. Downs doesn't know the plan for him after that appearance. He may get another rehab outing with Toledo over the weekend.
