(5/3/13) The Yankees have designated reliever Cody Eppley for assignment, WFAN reports.
Eppley appeared in two games for the Yanks before being optioned to Triple-A. His roster spot was needed for recalled reliever Preston Claiborne.

(4/6/13) The Yankees optioned relief pitcher Cody Eppley to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Saturday to make room on the roster for Saturday's starter Phil Hughes, reports the Journal News.
Eppley has appeared in two games thus far for New York. He was scoreless for 1/3 of an inning in the opener but gave up four runs over 1 1/3 innings Wednesday against Boston.

Eppley went 0-2 with a 10.13 ERA and a 2.25 WHIP in eight innings of Grapefruit League play.

(5/15/12) The New York Yankees recalled relief pitcher Cody Eppley from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Tuesday to take the roster spot of fellow reliever David Robertson (oblique), who was placed on the disabled list. Eppley was optioned to the minors last Sunday.
