(8/31/13) The Blue Jays were considering adding third catcher A.J. Jimenez to the roster Sunday, but the backstop is dealing with a nerve problem in his elbow, the National Post reports. The 23-year-old has played in three different levels of the minors this season for Toronto and hit a combined .287 with four homers and 38 RBI over 261 at-bats.

(8/29/13) Blue Jays Triple-A catcher A.J. Jimenez is sidelined due to nerve irritation in his throwing elbow, Sportsnet reports. A September call-up, which previous looked likely for the catching prospect, is questionable.
Jimenez has hit .287/.332/.406 with four home runs and 38 RBI in 261 at-bats over three minor-league levels.
