Braves promote LF Joey Terdoslavich from Triple-A
|by Marty Gitlin | CBSSports.com|
|(6/23/15) Just 13 days after being sent down, left fielder Joey Terdoslavich has been promoted by the Braves from Triple-A Gwinnett.
The move was necessitated Tuesday when Freddie Freeman was placed on the disabled list.
Terdoslavich batted just four times in his previous stint, but certainly has fond memories of his last trip to the plate, when he homered against San Diego.
His latest call-up is not coming at the most opportune time for the Braves. He was 4-for-28 in his last seven games at Triple-A.

|by Sean d'Oliveira | CBSSports.com|
|(6/10/15) The Braves activated left fielder Kelly Johnson from the 15-day disabled list Wednesday, the team announced.
Johnson has not played since May 13 because of an oblique injury. He is hitting .259 with six home runs and 18 RBI in 81 at-bats this season. Johnson will bat sixth and play in left field for Wednesday's game against the Padres
To make room for Johnson, the team optioned outfielder Joey Terdoslavich to its Triple-A affiliate. Terdoslavich went 1 for 4 with one home run in four games for the Braves this season.
Braves' Joey Terdoslavich hits game-winning home run
|by Jason Butt | CBSSports.com|
|(6/10/15) Braves pinch-hitter Joey Terdoslavich hit what would end up being the game-winning home run in the top of the ninth inning of Tuesday night's 6-5 win over the Braves.
Terdoslavich took a 2-0 pitch yard to put the Braves in front in the final frame of the game. This was only his fourth at-bat and first hit of the season. Therefore, he holds a .250/.250/1.000 slash line.
Braves activate Joey Terdoslavich, DFA Eric Young Jr.
|by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com|
|(6/5/15) The Braves reinstated outfielder Joey Terdoslavich from the 15-day disabled list and designated outfielder Eric Young Jr. for assignment on Friday, per the team's official website.
Terdoslavich has yet to play for the Braves this season because of a wrist injury. He hit .310 in just nine rehab games between Class A and Double A.
"It's great to be back. I'm just happy to be playing again," Terdoslavich said, per MLB.com. "I've got my timing about where I want it to be. Swing feels good, and hand feels good."
Young hit just .169 in 35 games for the Braves.
"E.Y. had a great spring and he was our center fielder all the way until we made that trade to get Cameron Maybin," manager Fredi Gonzalez said. "And Cam has done a terrific job for us, playing center field, playing every day. [Young] just didn't get a chance to play."
