(5/18/13) Rangers pitcher Justin Miller, who is on the 60-day disabled list while recovering from Tommy John surgery, began his minor-league rehab assignment with Double-A Frisco. Miller struck out one as he pitched a 1-2-3 inning in his first game action since his procedure last April.

(5/16/13) Rangers pitcher Justin Miller, who is on the 60-day disabled list while recovering from Tommy John surgery, is scheduled to begin a rehab assignment Friday, ESPN Dallas reports. Miller has been out since having the surgery last April.

(4/11/13) The Rangers have recalled pitcher Justin Miller, and transferred him to the 60-day disabled list.
Miller had Tommy John surgery in April 2012 and has not appeared in a game since 2011. The 35-year-old has pitched 375 2/3 career innings, with a 4.82 ERA and a 4.85 FIP.

(3/12/13) The Texas Rangers continued to shape their roster for the upcoming season and announced the following moves Tuesday: pitcher Neil Ramirez was optioned to Triple-A Round Rock; pitcher Justin Miller was sent to Double-A Frisco and pitchers Jake Brigham and outfielder Joey Butler were reassigned to the minor-league camp.
