| Rodriguez has attitude change |

(2/28/13) Reds outfield prospect Yorman Rodriguez has been a standout bat early in spring training. The 20-year-old outfielder is batting .500 (3 for 6) with one homer, two doubles and five RBI in three spring games. He even has a stolen base. “Talent wasn’t the issue with him,” manager Dusty Baker said, per the Cincinnati Enquirer. “Talent never was an issue. It’s getting the head and attitude right.” Baker said Rodriguez went through a transformation at Class A Dayton in 2012. “It’s part of growing up and being a man,” Baker said. “That’s why he’s in camp. He really didn’t deserve to be in camp. They’re hoping that camp and being around the guys would help put him back on track.”
