Guerrier finally making progress: Dodgers relief pitcher Matt Guerrier, who has been on the shelf since April 19 with right elbow tendinitis, is finally making some progress, reports MLB.com on Wednesday. Guerrier hopes to return in the next two weeks after throwing his second bullpen on Wednesday. "It's going good right now," said Guerrier. "I'm recovering. I'd like to be back by June 1 if I could. I don't feel any sharp pain anymore, and that's what I was having before." Guerrier will likely need a minor league rehab assignment before he can return to L.A. (Updated 05/16/2012)
Injury Report
Elbow - 15-day DL. Out until at least late May (Updated - 5/6/12)
Fantasy Analysis
Guerrier would be a welcome addition to a beleaguered bullpen when he can return for the Dodgers. That said, he shouldn't see save opportunities and would only carry NL-only Fantasy value in leagues that care about middle men in that role. (Updated 05/16/2012).
