Fantasy Analysis
The scouts call Pimentel a five-tool player, so you know he has a high ceiling. He has only played 73 games (51 last year in the Arizona League) stateside, but he is already showing the plus-plus power potential the scouts rave about. Pimentel is like a lot of power hitters in the fact that his biggest offensive weakness is a high strikeout total. The scouts feel that might catch up to him, but as of now Pimentel is holding his own. He remains a viable long-term Fantasy keeper. (Updated 07/14/2011).
