Blue Jays RP Steve Delabar earns first save of season Wednesday

|(6/24/15) Blue Jays pitcher Steve Delabar recorded the final three outs in the 12th inning during Wednesday's 1-0 win over the Rays to earn his first save of the season.
Delabar pitched a perfect inning while striking out two batters to earn the save. He now has a 1.42 ERA on the season.
Blue Jays backing off Cecil as closer, going to committee approach

|(6/23/15) Blue Jays manager John Gibbons made the announcement Tuesday he was removing Brett Cecil from the role as full-time closer and going to a committee approach. Gibbons said Cecil is getting backed off as closer to "get him right."
"He's just not sharp right now," Gibbons said.
Gibbons added Steve Delabar would be used as the closer Tuesday against the Rays, but also said Roberto Osuna will be in the mix for saves moving forward. Osuna was unavailable Tuesday after recording a two-inning save Monday.
Gibbons spoke favorable of Osuna on Tuesday, adding he has the stuff, makeup and toughness to close games. However, he added Osuna might be needed before the ninth inning, which is why he is not being named the new closer.
Steve Delabar earns win in relief for Blue Jays

|(6/13/15) Blue Jays reliever Steve Delabar pitched a perfect sixth inning, then watched his teammates rally for nine runs in the seventh, wiping out a four-run deficit and giving him the win.
Delabar moved to 2-0 on the season. He's won five games with no losses over the last two years.
Delabar struck out one and threw 12 strikes in 14 pitches.

|(5/26/15) Blue Jays reliever Steve Delabar earned his first win of the year with 1 1/3 scoreless innings to end the game.
Delabar moved to 1-0, winning his fourth straight decision, dating back to 2013. He stranded two batters in the eighth, then retired the side in order in the ninth. Delabar struck out one and lowered his ERA to 1.17.
Blue Jays recall pitchers Steve Delabar, Chad Jenkins

|(5/3/15) The Blue Jays announced Sunday they have recalled pitchers Steve Delabar and Chad Jenkins from Triple-A Buffalo while optioning pitchers Miguel Castro and Scott Copeland, per TSN radio.
Delabar was 3-0 in 30 games with the Blue Jays last year and was one of the team's last spring training cuts, while Jenkins was 1-1 in 21 appearances.
Castro was 0-2 with a 3.27 ERA and four saves this year, while Copeland, who was recalled Saturday, pitched one inning in his major league debut.
