(9/1/12) The Phillies have recalled relief pitcher Jacob Diekman from Triple-A Lehigh Valley Saturday.

| Jake Diekman showed some strikeout potential in a 32-game stint with the Phillies in 2012, but also produced a 3.95 ERA and 1.65 WHIP in 27 1/3 innings. The Philadelphia bullpen has a good amount of cracks for a pitcher like Diekman to exploit, but even if he makes the team, his ratios remain too high to use in most Fantasy formats.
